Getting to Shaftesbury
- Our closest train station is Gillingham (Dorset, not Kent. Don’t laugh, it has happened!)
- There is a bus service from the station to Shaftesbury on Friday and Saturday but not on Sunday.
Buses run every hour between 8am and 6pm. View bus timetable. - It’s about a 15m taxi ride, but it’s best to book a taxi if you want one – numbers for a few local firms below. If you know a few others arriving on the same train, you might like to share!
